That’s the question Kurier asked me – and it hits a nerve. In times of talent shortage, a growing search for purpose, and increasing skepticism toward traditional career paths, we need new answers.
💡 My take: Yes, performance is still worth it – but only if it’s recognized, fairly rewarded, and connected to purpose.
This requires a cultural shift: away from presenteeism and toward genuine appreciation. Away from rigid structures and toward trust and autonomy. And most importantly: toward transparent and fair pay.
📣 If we expect performance, we must be willing to acknowledge it – both culturally and financially.
Only then can work remain meaningful and motivating – across all generations.
